Introducing our son...Ezra

This is the first picture of Ezra we received in December of 2006.

We received this picture in February of 2007 This picture was taken in June 2007. He looks like he's gained a few pounds now. We think he's about 10 months old.
Some friends of ours are currently in Ethiopia and promised to bring back more pictures after having seen Ezra. We'll hopefully have more to post then.

Ezra 'Abera' Greenup

Hello all, we heard from our agency today and our adoption court date was successful. Ezra Abera is now legally our child. We are on vacation, so we don't have access to post a picture, but we'll do that when we get home around the 1st of August.

We now wait for our Embassy Date, which is when we get to travel to Ethiopia. They tell us it will be 4 - 8 weeks.

Tenerife, Spain Mission Team

This team left nearly a week ago and will be gone through the first part of August. Some missionaries from the church, Dave & Lois Belch, who are currently servingg in Venezuela and going to be relocating to do a church plant in Tenerife, Spain. Adoption Court Date...July 24

Our Case Worker called us on Thursday to tell us that Abera got a court date...July 24th. This is wonderful wonderful news, especially because the courts will close for 2 months a week after our court date. So, on July 24th, Heidi and I will legally be his parents (Lord willing, if everything goes as planned). We will then hopefully get to travel sometime in late August or early September to pick him up. Kind of crazy to think that we will legally be his parents but will be half way around the world. As soon as the court date is successful, I'll post a few pictures of our new son.
